I have a 1977 f150 custom single cab long bed with the 6.6 400 and c6 3 speed I have aluminum manifold and edelbrock 1407 750cfm 4 barrell carb it is 4x4 with 9" rear stock gears (3.50) ratio or whatever is close to that I cannot break wheels loose no matter how hard I try... I don't understand why it won't do a burnout any help ideas ?

Over weight, underpowered. overcarbed, under geared, over tired..exactly what is the purpose of doing a burnout? are you trying to impress yourself or your freinds? or just trying to break somthing so you can spend money to fix it. Money better spent on a newer truck equiped to do what you want it to and maby get better than 6 miles to the gallon
