dipstick help

Default dipstick help

turned my truck off an poped the hood an oil was gushing out the dipstick. its done it twice before. do i need a new dipstick??

Check the PCV valve.

A blocked PCV valve and/or the attached hose can cause excessive crankcase pressure and blow oil out the dip stick tube.
Make sure the oil level is not too high.
If not that then another possibility is bad ring(s).
Any smoke or oil fouled spark plugs?
