Truck died last thursday. Pulled alternater checked out fine. So i put new regulater on and still no charge. Anyway a friend of mine gave me alternater that hooks with one wire. It dont work. Another guy let me try another off a 302. Still no charge. Im ready to pour 5 gals of gas over and give it a lit match. 84 300 4x4. The fuse link is testing fine on ohm meter. Any help would be appreciated

 

Have you checked battery to see if it holding a charge?

 

I actually put put a different battery in the truck...still no charge
