Default carb. spacers

hello my question is can I put spread bore carb. on a square bore intake and can I put a 2bbl on a 4bbl intake. the holley i've got needs rebuilt and my buddy gave me a spread bore old carb 4011. its a holley also.don't have the cash right now for a new one. can one of these work.

I dont see why not,in fact im so sick of my edel"crock" carb im about to try a quadrajet on my 5.0l roller motor

already has an hei to eliminate the ford "dura" spark crap i may just stick a chevy engine in my ford LOL

I like the spread bore with the smaller plates in front this old 400 is snappy again

No you can not put a 2bbl carb on a bbl intake and get any good results. Always turn your carb over and make sure what you have matches your intake, on any carb or intake combination. The ports under your carb whether it be 2bll or 4bbl should be slightly smaller than your intake so your butterflies will open at WOT (wide open throttle). Or it just will not work properly. Make sure carb gasket does not interfere with operation of butterflies opening
