Default Carb question

I was trying to put a Manual choke wire on the carb because there wasn't one to begin with. I guess I now see why. When I was attaching it the choke closed and stayed closed. This lever I'm assuming is spring assisted to keep it open and it looks shot. Anyone know we're I can pick one up? Also found this other piece that could be important. Any help would be awesome thanks! Also the choke wire is the only thing keeping it open.

Did you try Summit? They have a lot of Holley 2BBL parts.
