Default carb issues

85 351 HO auto

My carb appears to be leaking from under it I first noticed when ever I would park facing down hill and now it seems like it doing it a lot I only noticed because there's a strong smell of fuel

How do I fix it I don't need my truck catching on fire
Thanks

Buy a carb rebuild kit, about $20 at an auto parts store, and re do at least that gasket, but while your at it, take some of it apart and clean it out and rebuild it! That would be the best thing to do.

Well i picked up the rebuild kit and took my carb off BUT the last person who did carb work stripped the nut to the fuel line so now I'm screwed I could take the fuel line off from the bottom but I really don't want to have a gas shower is there a fuel shut off so I could take it off from the bottom or does anyone have any tips to get the fuel line off

Well now I'm just trying to find a replacement line all the ones I've found so far are for a 302 2 Bbl or for a 351 mustang
