I have a84 f150 the tail lights work but I can not get the brake lights to work i've changed bulbs & fuses does anyone have any ideas.

I replaced all the fuses

 

Check the hazard flasher mine went out and it took the brake lights out too. I don't know why they are on the same circuit

 

I go along with Army2003 about the flasher. Just because, or if the 4 ways work, the normally "on" portion of the flasher is for the brake lights and thus the interaction of brake lights and flasher. Its just circuitry that is confusing as all blazes untill you study it.
