Ok folks I need some info. I've got two trucks. A 78 and an 85 f150. Both 4x4s both have 300-6 both single cabs but the 85 is a long bed the other is the short. What I wanna know is can I take the body off the 85 and put it on the 78 with ease and reasonably cost. Or is it to much of a pain in the ***. I'd greatly appreciate all the help. Thanks

 

I'm not sure but the cabs should change with minor mods. As far as finders I don't have any clue.

 

anything is doable. this especially. you'll probably have to fab a few mounts for some pieces, but its possible I believe.

 

Minor mods like moving body mounts? If its just that I know I can do it. I'm an awful fab man. I can make the stuff to do it. But another problem I'm gonna have is the wiring. Can I use the 78s harness to power the 85s equiptmemt.

 

I would move the harness, less cutting to rewire.

 

Thats a negative ghost rider. the harnesses are different.

 

Well damn. Then can I buy an msd box and use it to wire up everything. I'm trying to get rid of the rats nest of wires in the 85 cuz of the stupid emissions crap.
