Default Body part question

I apologize in advance if this has been asked already. I tried looking for it.

I have two issues

I own a 1983 F-150 6 1/2 foot bed with a single fuel tank. I would like to replace to bed/box because of some rust issues. I think (correct me if I am wrong) the model ran from 1980 to 1986. Are there any other years that would fit on to replace the bed?

Next, I would like to replace my doors to install electric windows. Does anyone have any recommendations on the year model of doors that would fit?

Thank you!

You are really taxing this old guys brain. The 79 ended a body style and 80 started another. Am not sure about the power windows, surely in the early eighties we had power windows.

ya, you have the date range right, earlier or later and you will run into problems, except the bed, even if its not an exact match for the frame it can still be attached with minor modification, just take ur measurements and shop around, so many body styles your gonna want to mostly worry about wheel well placement i believe.

Thank you! I was thinking (more hoping) that the bed would be a bit more flexible in the year range. I found a couple of beds in good shape that are a 1987. I will check the measurements and look into it. The doors I have currently have windows that are loose on their track. They still work but I thought since I want to replace them eventually I would like to have electric windows if this was possible to do.

I believe a box allthe way to 97 would fit. (250/350).

Considering I seen a 1995 f250 with a 2006 Superduty box hah
