Default Bench Seat to Bucket Conversion

I want to eventually replace the bench seat in my '83 with nice comfy buckets. Show me your conversions and don't forget to mention the doner vehicle and any mods you had to do...
I am gathering info for this upgrade, it's not happening any time soon.

Check under the floor; not all cabs have hard points for buckets. Since your signature is incomplete, IDK if yours does. You should put ALL the truck's details & history (as much as you know) into your signature so it shows with each post, as this page explains:

Phone apps don't always show signatures, so you may need to switch to a real browser in desktop mode on your phone, or just use a desktop/laptop computer. Put your location (nearest city) in your profile & upload an avatar of the truck. The more pics you post (NOT in your sig) of the truck, engine, wiring, labels, & undercarriage, the more likely we can help you. Not all its details are relevant to these issues, but you don't necessarily know which ones are relevant, so just put everything in now.

I put captain's chairs from an '83 X-cab into my '83 Bronco. But the '80-89 floor in all fullsize Ford trucks was notoriously weak, requiring reinforcements even for those originally equipped with captain's chairs. Read this page & follow the links on it:

Asking again, anyone install buckets from non-Ford vehicles in an '80-86 F150 reg cab?
