Default almost ready for paint

Hey guys I am almost ready to paint my 79 that I have been working on. I am going to paint the truck using the camo brown plasti dip. What should my paint prep be? If I wash the truck up really good and use a degreaser will this suffice for the plasti dip?? thanks for the help

You still need to scuff it to give it some tooth to bite to. See what the manufacturer reccomends.

I would give the whole truck a good washing with soap and water, wait for it to dry or dry it yourself. Then get scuff pads like already mentioned and go over everything that's gonna be painted. Then use degreaser and wipe it off with a shop towel that won't leave fuzzies or lint on the truck.
