Air filter housing no longer fits after manual choke installation.

I have a 1978 straight six which I just installed a manual choke for. My air filter housing will no longer fit now that the back of the carb is now extended about an inch. Any suggestions for what I can do?

Put the correct parts back on, of course. The original automatic choke is better for the engine anyway.

theres no connection for the heat riser tube on the headers that are installed .

Then either wrap a soft copper tube around the header & connect it to the choke, or...

Wait for it...

...put direct-replacement manifolds on. ;)
