Default 86 engine problems

I have a 86 f150 300 six straight drive 2wd. I've been trying to figure out why the engine all of a sudden started running really bad. Stalls when I come to a stop and takes awhile to get started again. Replaced the fuel pump, the distributor cap and rotor, the ICM, fuel filter. Has a rebuilt carburetor. The last thing I replaced was the ECM module. Now it won't start at all. I'm stumped

Put the original parts back on. Did you replace any of them BEFORE this symptom appeared?

There are SEVERAL known problems with the 1bbl carb on that engine, but any decent reman should address most of them. The more we know about the truck, its history, & the parts you put on it, the more likely we can help. Put ALL its details into your signature as this caption explains:

For EACH part, tell us what symptom made you suspect a problem, what diagnosis led you to that part, the brand/PN/source of the replacement, and if the replacement passed the same test that the previous one failed.
