Default 86 door panel restore

My dads f150 door panels needed some work so I got some Sems paint (Blue mist) and they look great again.

Thumbs up

Thanks for sharing.
SEM products are well regarded and were a good choice.
Did you remove the chrome trim prior to painting or mask it ?
Either way, nice job, it turned out well !

Yes I took it all apart and painted. these go to the blue and white bullnose you commented on recently. this is the main flaw in the truck. they faded out a couple years after he bought it.

I thought so but the exterior is so pristine, I wasn't 100% sure.

It looks brand new. the door panels, seat belt panel in the corner and the kick panel all looked bad. dash and glove box area all still look great.

It has the most comfortable cloth bench seat in it that I've ever seen and I've seen a lot of cars and trucks being an auto detailer on the side.

Looks great! Its amazing what a little paint can do. I never used sems paint but I hear it is good stuff. Will have to see how well mine holds up.
