I cant seem to find any info for my year of truck on this subject. I have a 1986 F150 that is 2wd and I want to make a 4wd. So any and all info on this helpful.

 

You will need a new tranny with transfer case, both drive shafts , entire front suspension. Try craigslist or a parts yard for a wrecked truck. You have to make sure your new front axle gear matches your rear.

All in all it would be easier to put your body on a 4x4 chassis.
