I have a 85 F-150 i replaced the clutch and ever since when i push the clutch in it doesnt seem to take it all the way out of gear. I have to use force to shift into first. So much so my shift lever broke. Ive been told my firewall has a crack around the master cylinder. How do I fix this? Where can I find a new shift lever?

 

First of all, the master cylinder/booster assembly will have to be removed so plate(s) can be welded in, repairing the crack(s). (JB Weld will not work ).
Secondly, you can check local wrecking yards for a replacement shift lever or try parts sources such as LMC Truck, National Parts Depot, Bronco Graveyard, Macs Auto Parts, etc.
