My 85 f150 351w is acting up and dieing every time I stop it was warmed up and all wasn't to hot I drove for maybe 2 hours on the road no mud or nothing and she would die every time I stop unless I keep my foot on the gas can any one help

 

Could be a lot of things.
Check that the EGR valve is not stuck open.

 

Well its only happening in drive while I'm slowing down or stopping when I'm moving its fine
