79 wont start

79 wont start

My 79 wont start. I checked the coil and it's good. it has gas and it turns over. Ive tried another electric brainbox no help. I got it running once today but it just died and now it wont start.

Help!!!!!

Have you checked out the distributor pickup wire. I spent a week doing the same for my truck and it was as simple as replacing that.

Is the positive side of the coil suppose to hot all the time even with the key in the off possition.?

Check the timing same thing happened to my buddies 76.
