Default 66 F100 240 I6 cam recommendation

I'm currently in the process of rebuilding a 240 I6. Waiting on the machine shop right now. I know the question of camshafts have come up multiple times, but honestly, I don't know anything about lift, duration, profiles blah blah. I'd love to learn but for the sake of the build, I''m wondering what you guys would recommend. One of the Comp Cam kits was the route I was thinking that comes with the cam, springs, lifters and timing set.
This motor (obviously) won't be a high horsepower build, just looking for a bump. It will be a driver. I was considering the EFI split dual exhaust manifold and even an aftermarket 4 barrel intake but that's probably as far as I plan on going with this truck.
I have heard of using the Chevy 250 rockers, but since my cam is toast, it will need replacing anyway.

Any information/recommendation would be appreciated.
