Default 351W Ignition problems

Evening guys, long time, no post.
I need to pick some brains, I have a 85 F150 that I put a 351W out of a 83 van in.
Got it fired up and it misses bad at low rpm.
Trouble shooting the miss, I found I could unhook #1,2,6, or 8 plug wire from the dist cap, (one at a time) and it does not effect the way the engine runs.
When I do the same to #3,4,5, or 7, it acts like it should, a plug wire is un hooked.
I thought the dist might be 180 out, so I pulled it out and switched it around.
Got it fired up, and same thing, but now 1,2,6 and 8 are " hitting" and 3,4,5 and 7 act like they are dead.

Firing order is 13726548

Any help will be appreciated.

Eric

Dummy me, I got it fixed, it was 180 out and has a early 289-302 cam in it, it was wired wrong.
Purrs like a kitten now.
