Default 33s or 35s?

I've got a 77 f150 shortbrd stepside with a 4 inch lift and a souped up 400m probably pushin 400 hp and torque. It's got 3.50 gears in it.... It's got 33 x12.5x15s on there already, it doesn't drive to bad like that, would it be worth it to go up to 35s or should I stick with the 33s?

Personally i'd go 35's just for the looks factor. Post up pics of your truck if you can.

35s with 3.53s is gonna rob some power and speed and put more stress on steering parts. But theyll look good. 33s are best for power and speed.

x2

Plus, the more you raise the center of gravity, the more it will struggle to get traction when on a side hill.

Bigger is not always better.

Now, if you don't take it off rd, and it's just for show, go bigger.

Adding bigger tires can decrease your rpms on the road unless you fear it down. I have 35s on my truck with a totally stock 360 and factory 3.50 axles plus its full time 4wd. It's not too horrible. The bigger tires should increase your top end speed some.
