Default 1986 Bed not leveled.

So the bed was a little un-leveled. I put 500 lbs of sand for traction in the bed and it is more pronounced, or I noticed it more.

The driverside is the lower side. It has 3 leafs in the spring pack and the passenger side has 4. Is this the only cause of this?

Can I just add a leaf to the driverside? I have no clue as to brand etc.. as previous owner dint mention it.

Thanks
Dave

Sound like some had broke a leaf. I dont know if you can find just a leaf. But a new set of leaf spri gs in the rear would inprove hauling and ride quality. Id also recommend both sets just so you dont just switch sides sagging

Yeah I am going to replace them both. I am having a tough time finding a part number for the "V" on my door tag. V is the rear spring code. But what does that mean for the pack thickness and weight?

Thanks
Dave
