1984 no start
So I have a 1984 F150 that I've been working on, and when I initially got it would start but needed a lot of work. After doing a lot of work on the interior I put it back together but now when I turn the key I get nothing. The past few owners have done a number on the electrical of this aspects of this truck so I'm trying to figure out what went wrong when I put it back together. So far I've tested the engine which cranks by bypassing the starter solenoid, and tested the solenoid to make sure it is good. From what I can tell I believe the issue is that I'm not getting power to the solenoid to engage it, but I have no clue as to why.
Any tips or advice would be appreciated, and I can get some pictures if it would help..
Thanks!

After doing some more digging I think my issue is that I'm not getting power into the ignition switch, I have power into the fuse box but the yellow wire that I think goes into the ignition switch does not have any power. Not sure what I need to do to fix the however.
From what you describe, sounds like a fuse link may be open.
There should be at least two maybe three power feeds into your ignition switch
You may need a EVTM for it (your 84)
Your ignition switch electrical portion may be no good
Where did you find the power interruption in the yellow feed wire?
Maybe you are not done down there by the battery chasing bad fuse links
If you jump one backwards and turn the key on you will burn a fuse link or two
Good luck
