1984 ext cab 300 inline 6
I have the opportunity to get a 1984 ext cab 300 inline 6 with I think 186,000 miles.
The body is rusted out pretty bad, supposedly it runs good.
I really need something like this, does anyone know of any problems with these trucks?

The carb is a Carter YF-1A
They have issues if sitting for a long while (power piston) (accelerator pump diaphragm)
The cam timing gears are an issue roughly every 300k miles (plastic or phenolic cam gear breaks the teeth off)
The 4.9 truck will likely outlast us all
