Default 1983 4,9 carburetor problem

Dear All, I write from Poland. I bought in Netherlands a barn find F150 1983 4,9 L6 aut. RWD. I have a problem with carburetor regulation. There is missing some connection to my carburetor. I guess it is a heating hose connecting carburetor to exhaust manifold? Please correct me if I am wrong. What should be mounted to indicated inlet? Could you advise where on the web I could buy such connection and where to connect on the other end? Please have a look at the below picture. Many thanks for your help.

Default Carb issues

Copper line from valve cover on left running behind throat of carb to right side port on carb.

Port I am speaking to is above the spring. You can see the copper line coming from above and taking a 90 degree turn to port
I have attached two photos from my 83 which has the 8 cylinder engine. I am no mechanic but am hoping to help. Your carb could be configured differently. I am wondering if it is not just for the PCV running from the valve cover. It is just a guess but maybe the pictures will help. My understanding is that era of truck had a lot of efforts made to control emissions and improve gas mileage so there is a lot of extra vacuum hoses and the like on those models.

Good luck

I think that's part of the factory choke to get hot air faster ? I have a 84 F150 300 six cylinder and it's Not on my Carburetor??

Yes, it's the choke heat tube.
