How much does a 1977 ford f150 super cab long bed with a 460 weigh. I saw 6,000 something on the door but I'm not sure.

That sounds much too heavy. My 2007 Ext cab/8ft bed 4x4 weighs 6400 and its got a lot more to it than an old 77.The 6,000 on the door is probably its GVWR, check your curb weight at a truck stop or landfill

A 78 f250 single cab long bed 460 4 speed 4x4 weight was 4700 dry with empty fuel tanks. So id say that super cab probabky weighs in around 5000. ..
