Default 1970's Tailgate Question

I am not sure what year(s) the Ford tailgate had the FORD attachment on the tailgate, but I am pretty sure it was during the 70's. I am looking for this piece for a project im working on. If you know where I can find one for cheap, I'd appreciate the help.

There's a 72 at my local PaP, if that truck had it bet it's on there. The truck is near complete. Wish I had it

Going there Saturday, if I see it, I'll post again.

Think you need to look at 73-79 year models. The 72 and prior were a two piece side bed design that had severe rust problems at the seam. I am concerned with the in cab tank, my 73 has duals and both beneath the cargo bed. Perhaps its the super cab 4 door version of dual tanks. What ever it is, keep it. Its a winner. Am thinking you need to look in the later models or at least the top end version, my FORD letters of stamped into the mold of the tail gate, not the added on trim piece.

My 73 had a stamped FORD like all the Bronco's.

Hey Bill wasn't that name plate a camper special option? My old mind thinks it was.
