I'm in the burbs of ATL and dealers have no 26 Lariat or Platinums on the lot. They have a few of the lower trim models. Is it due to the aluminum plant fires?

 

If it was due to the aluminum plant fire you’d expect to see no new models. Lower trims use the same aluminum.

Dealers seem to have plenty of 2025s so theyre probably only getting the most popular models that sell easily, lower trims - STX and XLT.

 

Well, I’ve ordered a ‘26, w an April build date. (Ordered in early Feb.) While searching, there are a lot of ‘26 XLT’s out there, but not exactly what I was looking for, so I ordered from Granger. Not sure about higher trim levels since I’m a middle of the road guy. Excited, like a kid waiting on Christmas. Turning in retirement papers when the truck gets here.

I certainly hope your truck makes it in April or soon after! I ordered a 2026 F150 on February 1 and crickets! I’ve not heard anything about build date, serial number or just an email about the receipt of an order.

 

I believe there were a couple 2026 models at Paul Thigpen Ford Waynesboro, GA a couple hours from you in Atlanta and a few at Stokes Hodges Ford in Graniteville, SC. Both are about 30 minutes from Augusta, GA. Good luck.

Ford usually gets around to building trucks for a few months in the summer, just in time to retool for the following model year.
