Today I installed the factory kicker sub in my XLT. I was nervous it wasn’t going to make enough of a difference, but it totally does! A little hard to get it tuned to the right sound but after an hour drive got it spot on. Was such an easy install, fits behind the rear seat with holes already in the truck to secure it and a wire that was in the B pillar that just needed to be turned on in FORSCAN.

If you come across one on eBay for under $300~ I would recommend it. But not for the price Ford sells it!!!

That's awesome. Would you be willing to post a picture showing that plug and where it's located? I've Googled about adding this to my truck but the results I found made it sound rather complicated like there was a lot of wiring to run. But if it's plug and play and Forscan then it's something I want to do to my 23 XLT.

I wonder if this would work on a STX.

Will go take a picture and post it tomorrow, it’s super easy to see it and before I looked I called my local Ford dealer and the parts guy looked up my VIN and confirmed mine had it.

Installed Rough Country's painted SF1 fender flares. Paint job spot on and flares cover up the poke 👌🏾!

In the real world people drive in the salt. It would be nice to stay home every time it snows but that is not realistic.

Thank you but you can disregard. I found an installation video that showed it. I checked my truck and I don't have the plug so if I decide to add a subwoofer it will be something else.

So after getting the Ranch Hand grill guard installed I found it does indeed affect the front parking sensors. Ford dealer said they would not adjust the sensors from factory settings so I just had to disable the front sensors and live with it. I don't see a way to do it myself they're not easily accessed. Live and learn I guess.
