Yeah, just don’t pull on it. You actually need to separate the clips from the molding/part of the bumper it is clipped to. I just threw away the one from my 2018 last week and my 2021 didn’t even come with one now that Ohio switched to no front plate, or I would attach a picture of it.
Edit: I googled it right after posting this and here is a quick YT video of what the bracket should be. You can see the clips you have to separate to remove it.

Got rid of the Goodyear tires and put on Falken Wildpeak AT3's.
Received and installed a Bak Industries MX4 tonneau cover.
Waiting for the floormats to arrive from Husky.
That just about wipes out my budget...
