Finally got my painted mirror caps today. Got them from outlawleds.com. A bit cheaper than the painted ones found on EBay. Quality is A+.
I decided I would try the painted ones over the black ones just to see how I like it.
Not the best pics in my garage with the bright sunlight coming through the windows.

The way I read it is that these are the factory tow mirrors that the truck came with but they had chrome caps which he replaced with the body color caps. Replacing the caps shouldn't impact any of the mirrors' factory functionality. I have a 502A chrome edition with the tow mirrors and chrome caps, but the caps fit well with the rest of the chrome on my truck; his was a sport edition and the chrome was out of place.

The dash cam power tap that goes into your rearview mirror plug is in stock direct on their site, still OOS on Amazon, for anyone interested.

This goes between your rearview mirror and the existing plug to give you a USB plug right behind your mirror. Ideal for radar detectors or dashcams, I have used one for my current and last F-150 and dashcam and it works great. No harm to the mirror and no splicing OEM wiring or anything. Only issue is the mirror is not a constant hot, so if you want to record while the truck is parked for hours then it's not a good solution. But I don't put any value in that kind of footage so it works great for me.

Can anyone confirm that this will work on a 2021 F150 STX?
I have 5 wires going to the16 pin connector.
edit: looks like a no go unless it has 301A. Mine is 101A.
Thanks
