Default What about the ventilated seats?

Does anyone have experience in a 2021 with the ventilated seats? Do they feel more than powerful/cooling enough or has Ford still failed to remedy these god-awful ventilated seats? My 2019 KR is on the more disappointing side of things. Hoping the 2021 is an improvement.

I dunno about the 2021s, but in my 2020, I have to turn down the intensity due to how cold mine get.

I have a secondary question on the vented seats. In my wife's car it has the cool/heat. But on the cool setting, I always feel a little uncomfortable in the seat area when it gets cold, it feels like my pants are wet like I peed in them or something. I often get caught offguard thinking I sat in water only to see that oh, someone left the **** on the cool setting and I wasn't aware. I would love to be able to just set it to the backrest and not the seat. Wondering if anyone knows if that is an option on the Ford version?

are you asking if both can be on at the same time?

Oh, no I would just like the backrest cooling and the seat portion to be neutral. But in her car it is all or nothing. I would *assume* it is the same in the Ford but if not then that's good news for me!

In the "TED-less" later model VENTILATED seats the only option is 3 different fan speeds supposedly equal seat/back..... no customization beyond that.....AFAIK..... AZPLAT

Thanks for the info! Same as the infiniti then. So I guess I will just have to deal with the "sat in a puddle" feeling then when I use the feature.

Sooooooo.......are the 2021 Lariat seats actually ducted from the AC system or is it just a fan blowing/sucking air from under seat area through perforations in leather? Never had them before and truck still on order. My 2019 Ram Rebel only has heated seats that I assume are resistive heat strips under upholstery.

I haven't tested my new seats. Not very warm around here. But I'm assuming they suck air, not blow. So there is no "cooling" just circulating the cabin air.
