Default Weird Dots Bottom Right of Windshield

Does any body know what the little tiny round dots on the bottom right side of the windshield are? There are a bunch of little dots in the glass, almost looks like someone used an awl to punch the wholes in a rectangle pattern that is like 3/4" x 1". I will try to get a picture tomorrow, but I thought someone may know just based on the terrible description.

Started to scrape mine off when I first got the truck but stopped because noticed it was the glass and not tape residue

I thought it was tape residue too. No idea what it was/is for.

I'm not sure if I'm thinking of the same spot... but there is a "QR Code" type code that is etched in the glass. I tried to scan it one day, while wondering around the Dealership. It didn't pull-up anything, so maybe it is FoMoCo specific?

They use QR codes on the assembly line, almost everything has a small QR code that gets read, so they know the vehicle isn't missing components among other uses.

Not sure if thats what the OP is talking about or not? Maybe post a pic OP?

Its the Matrix human interface and the battery drain issue is just a cover for the fact that all us 2021 F-150 owners are just becoming human batteries to power both Skynet and the Matrix...

I know this is an old thread but I believe I have the answer for you. I actually work at the plant that makes the windshields and if you're talking about the QR code down on the bottom passenger corner, then it's basically a time stamp. After we cut and grind the windshield to shape we laser etch that code on there with the current date and time so that we can track it through our manufacturing process before shipping it to Ford.
