Default Water leaks

Two recent heavy rains have reveal a leak around the camera on the windshield which is coming into the interior, dripping off and even getting to the front cubby.

I’m also hearing a sloshing under acceleration and braking.Ford no longer inserts the grommets into the doors so where’s that noise coming from?

I’ve got a dealer visit in my future….

Open the sunroof and look where the wind deflector is at,in each corner up front you'll see the drain holes, see if there is any standing water in the sunroof track, if there isn't,you can pour water in the track where the wind deflector is at and see if the drains are working, it should drain pretty fast if they are working, if not then that may be where your leak is occuring

EDIT, there are 4 drains for the sunroof , 1 in each corner, and the drain tubes run down the A and C pillars to each corner of the body and drain outside

Pull the plastic door sill plate off at the front door, the trough under the plastic cover might fill with water. At least my 16 Lariat had that issue at times during very heavy rain. It would slosh back and forth.

We've got crazy rain coming. I hate to do it, but going to get some masking tape and cover up the edges of the sunroof including the middle split between moving and non moving panels. I hate to do that but rather try to avoid water coming in.

@thundertracks That's a new one on me. It was warmer yesterday and dry. Didn't hear anything. Perhaps ice blocking the drain there melted and let it out. Worth a look see

Well I did it. Also put a couple of beach towels on the dash to soak up water.

Its going to be a long three weeks until I can get it to the dealer.
