Just joined. First post. I've been thinking about getting an F-150, but I hate all of the colors that are available except for the reds, but I'm sick of red and blue being the only real colors anyone offers, and I don't like the Atlas Blue as much as I liked the Velocity Blue. Then I found the VSO fleet paint guide, and got all excited thinking maybe I could order a yellow, or one of the nice bright blues, but they said I have to order at least 5 trucks and have my own company in order to get one. Does anyone have any experience with this?

 

It's been years since I worked at Ford, but there are special conditions that must be met before you can place a fleet order with Ford. Fleet orders qualify for special incentives that retail orders do not get, and you have to create a fleet number with Ford before a dealership can even take a fleet order from you. I am not sure if you have to order a minimum amount of vehicles from them or not, but it sounds plausible.

 

Yeah. I guess I would just have to order a white one and then have it painted in the color I want.
