I have a 2021 f150 with eco boost. Ford installed an update Sept 14 but I have not been able to confirm what was in it. Since that date, I have gotten the message "voice recognition not ready" each time I push the "VR" button so that I can change XM channels. It wants to install my Android phone, which is installed already. Anyway, I cannot change XM channels. Is it possible that the last sync4 update is forcing me to use Android Auto instead of Voice Recognition? Has anyone else had this problem and how can I reverse the Android Auto requirement?

 

I lost voice too. I use android auto, google maps, GIA Gps, On X, Waze and Ford Nav subscription. Have to use touch screen now. Not sure what happened. Used to be able to navigate and make calls with voice. Seems like a settings issue. PIA
