Use your phone as a key?
No. While you can open the vehicle with your phone, you cannot drive it anywhere without the fob. However, Ford is introducing Ford Phone As A Key, which will allow that. Mustang Mach-E has it, Lincoln Corsair. https://owner.ford.com/support/how-t...-as-a-key.html
I have not seen the F-150 listed with it yet.

I can't imagine the Corsair has any technology in it the Limited doesn't too... I certainly could be wrong, but I'd imagine the technology "exists" already in the vehicle?
HAHAHA - that's a good point! I think I saw that Apple was rolling out similar functionality (maybe BMW was going to be first partner?).

We have a 2018 Fusion Energi. Ford's ability to support getting the scheduled charging times to work was close to non-existent. Months went by with no resolution, and they gave up. I solved the problem by putting a WiFi-controlled outlet in place, which only provides power to the charger during the days and times I want it to. And by Ford, I mean CORPORATE, not the dealer. I deal directly with the support staff for MyFord Mobile, the software package designed to specifically control the Fusion Energi (and other PHEVs).
In addition, my 2018 Fusion Energi has NEVER done a WiFi update. NEVER. It is parked close to the router, has a strong signal, is connected to the network, scans for an update with the manual option, and never finds one. Yet I find them on the Owner site and apply them via USB key.
We will be in the market for a new vehicle to replace the Energi this summer / fall, and very interested in getting something that is at least hybrid, and with new technology, but pretty sure Ford won't be able to support that technology anywhere close to our expectations.
