How in the world am I to check the transmission fluid when the truck has no dipstick?

Thanks for the info. I wonder if anyone has come out with a dipstick tube for this application?

There is a 10R80 dipstick kit.

I just use an Ove-Glove and its not that big of a deal.

Creston, your truck has a TRANSMISSION fluid dipstick?! Also for anyone on here does anyone know of any after market dipstick for the 10R80 that attaches to the firewall that's cheaper than the about $200 ones I keep finding online? Thanks

Yes. They all do. Maybe not the powerboost though idk about that. But in my shop I've not seen an f150 (or gm 10 speed) that didn't have a trans dipstick. It's on the passenger side down on the trans. Something like a 19mm bolt head. Shiny

Yep. See above. I actually took a picture so I could remember what number the factory filled up to. Hard to see in the picture but the stick has numbers up it. Factory is up to the 3 btw

Pretty sure Fordbeats is meaning a traditional transmission dipstick, not the mini one down under.
