Default 5.0 V8 Trans cooler

My 2021 5.0 Lariat running totally fine. I live in Kuwait where during summer months ambient temperature reaches more than 50+ C (125+ F) in the shade.

Which aftermarket transmission cooler do you guys suggest. My trans always reaches 215+ F driving highway and city. FYI, we suffer from traffic jams during hottest hours of the day 1-4 pm.

I searched online and couldn't find any aftermarket trans cooler.

Edit: I used to own 2013 V8, trans liquid mixed with coolant after 6 yrs of usage

~215+F is well within the normal range for your truck.

I know 215 is a normal range, but it gets up to 250 during summer while trailing or offroading.

Under those conditions, its a matter of shedding heat to the outside Ambient.
When the out side Ambient is high, the transfer will be lower.
Only way to improve this is the increase the Cooler total area, and place it in a cooler location, not where it is subject to other engine heat.
A fan extra, behind or in front may help some ,as well.
An extra electric Fan to move air through the engine bay and out the sides and bottom, may even help.
Only in places like you have is it an extremes condition that lives on the borderline of cooling.
A lot of the issue is from the road surface pick-up of heat. beside the Ambient.
Good luck.

The cooler that is fitted to these trucks merely is a heat exchanger between engine coolant and ATF.

I think there have been posts either about an after market set up, or that the Raptor has a supplementary cooler of its own.

now to find those posts.

found inconclusive threads

but here’s a start
https://www.mishimoto.com/automotive/transmission-coolers.html

also going to suggest a much dhort interval between ATF fluid changes

Thanks for your response, but the way 10r80 factory transmission cooler is located underneath the the vehicle, not in front of the car along with other coolers and radiators where I can solve it by adding another fan to help with more air.

So if it's using the engine's coolant for cooling, installing a lower temp thermostat like 170 might help out with cooling, at least it will take longer time to reach higher temperature.

I've known others who have had cooling issues in your kind of temps.
There are larger capacity aftermarket coolers for your year and model, that may be of interest to help bring the temp down some.
Being located under and just ahead of the Trans makes it tougher from picking up heat off the road surface and depends on the Truck moving for additional cooling.
I have a 2018 and cooler in the same place. I sometimes worry about damage, more than cooling.
Good luck.

I searched everywhere but sadly couldn't find any fits my 2021 5.0. most brands are working with only 3.5EB and other engines but no 5.0 version. if you know any brand fits my model and engine I will be highly appreciated.

I highly trust mishomoto intercoolers but again non for my 5.0 engine
