Just got a new trailer and plugged in the trailer sensor to use Pro Trailer Backup Assist. Sees that a trailer is plugged in but doesn't give me any prompts to setup PTBA and when I press the button it doesn't do anything. Did I get a bad sensor?

 

You are the second person to talk about plugging a trailer sensor. I don’t know what you are referring to. Mine, I just hooked up the trailer plugged the connector, got in the truck, pushed the trailer assist button and it went into set up, asking for some sticker, finally found the sticker and instructions on the glove compartment, follow the instructions and it has been working just fine. Honestly I don’t care much for it, use it maybe 50% of the time.
