Two things I can't find anywhere near me. 6'5" bed and towing mirrors. Everything around here comes with 5.5 bed and the regular mirrors.

I have never seen a truck on a lot with towing mirrors.

Does anyone know if that's something that can be added aftermarket?

Yeah, there's a lot. And if you added the chrome package like I did, you're already mostly there.
Let me rephrase, it doesn't add a lot that I want! No chrome package for my build either, not my style.

Most dealers won't acquire them to sell off of the lot. I spent a LOT of time looking for trucks on the lot before ordering mine. The ones I found with towing mirrors were typically 3.5s with max tow package.

You can do them aftermarket, but it is not cheap. It is actually cheaper to special order a truck with towing mirrors... usually. Depending on your package selections, towing mirrors can be a $250 upgrade. Ford OEM tow mirrors are about $500 - $1,000 a piece depending on options. Some people have gotten lucky and found lightly used pull offs on ebay for half the price.

I was searching for a 5.0 SCrew 157" with towing mirrors in magnetic/black/ingot silver. There was 2 in the country.

How/where are you searching for those? Just a keyword search?

My salesman, whose also a friend, was doing it for me. The dealers have access to much better search capabilities and filtering than we do on the normal Ford website. They can see what vehicles are also on order and waiting to go into production. He said they can sometimes be able to request a vehicle waiting to go into production if its not already on a special order. However, that is based on the dealers ranking for how many vehicles they move per year. His dealership is #7 in the country, so he is able to do that a lot easier than a small rural dealership might be able to.

Here are a few pics , the 2016 is mine and the 2021 is a member from a different forum.
I liked having the 6.5ft bed. I ordered my 2021 with a 5.5ft bed because the amount of time that I need the extra foot is minimal. I hope you find what you are looking for.

I spent weeks, if not months searching for a GT500 in 2012. New or used, you name it. When a deal fell through on a used one, I figured what would it hurt to go talk to my local Ford dealer. Within a day he found one that suited my needs and had a guy drive up and exchange my car for a truck they had in inventory. Agree that their searching database has a couple "feathers in its cap".
