Just do 15% in the front and it matches the rear.

5% over how it rolled off the assembly line

it’s dark, but I’m used to it… I’ve had limo tint on every vehicle the last 20 years.

When I purchased mine the previous owner had the fronts tinted to match the rears.

I had this replaced with 15% on fronts and whatever % the tint guy used to match the rears to this. I didn’t ask him what that was.

Can’t remember what legal limit is here, I think it’s 25%.
So just doing 15% on fronts will be darker than factory rear windows.

Also I personally would not want darker than what I have.
I have 5% brow on the windshield and looking through that at night I know I do not want my side windows that dark. Afraid I might hit someone or something at night when turning or backing.

15% matches the rears. This translates to about 18-19%. Rears are about 18-20% from factory. Pics are 15% ceramic fronts.

thanks for the post! I am going to go this route and add a 15% strip on windshield. Looks perfect to me!

Getting mine redone today. The tint shop told me the rear factory glass was about 23% and dealer installed 33% on the fronts which has been too light for me, so we are doing 15% on the fronts and 35% overlay on the rears (he said this would make the rears 10%-12% after). Then 15% strip on windshield.
