Default Timing phaser placement

I'm replacing the timing phaser in my 2005 ford f150 crewcab . When I opened up the drives side(left) valve cover the phaser had an R at the top . I've read I need to have it in the L position which is 180 degrees from the R
if I were to replace it matcitng where the old one is would it throw everything out of wack .
Do I actually need to manually crank it 180 degrees I guess is what I'm asking or can I just replace it where it stands Matching uo letters and down key pins etc 🤔

You're in the wrong forum homie. This is the 2021+ forum. You'll probably get more help in the right forum.
