Haven't seen this mentioned, so a cautionary tail. The spare on my truck is a light duty tire with 5/32 tread marked for temporary use only. It's full sized and would be easy to mistake for a real tire but is a 112 load range on a truck calling for 116. Any one who tows or hauls moderate loads or more might want to investigate. Mine has the base trailer tow package, I've already ordered a new tire for peace of mind. The bean counters beat me again!

Well I have a real spare now, hopefully it will be totally wasted$180 that I never need!
