I put on the one from the Ford store. It is a LED Putco brand. Plug and play. No issues .

 

I have a 2023, Lariat with the LED taillights. I also have the latest Freedom model Putco light bar. On about 2 out of 5 start ups the driver’s side taillight LED light strip will not turn. I have to turn the headlight dial from the auto to full on position and back to the auto position to get that LED strip to turn on.

I contacted Putco and they related it was the light bar’s control module that was the issue. They replaced it but it hasn’t fixed the issue. It’s not that big of a deal so I’ll just keeping turning the dial to make the LED strip illuminate.

With the exception of that issue I have no problem with any of the light bar’s performance / functionality.

 

Just buy a cheap light bar off of Amazon. Use a test light to find what wire to hook up to, and save hundreds. Mine has been working since 2021 without issue.
