Went to open my tailgate today. I don’t drive often. First time I dropped the gate in weeks.

the gate went down beeped a couple then up then beeps a couple and did this like 3x before it stopped then I lowered it again and finally went down and stayed.

anyone see that before? 22 lariat with 11k on it.

 

Only if it feels what is assumes is resistance going down.

 

weird it went all the way down then beeped and went up. I checked and didn’t see anything. Then I was worried it would not lock and stay up.

 

Might need a little lube on the pivot points.

 

I can't speak for the first 2 bullet points, but the last 2 are indeed annoying.
