Default Tail Light Quit Working

If one bulb blows, will it cause everything to stop working in that tail light.
A month ago someone hit my tail light in a parking lot and gave me the insurance information, the taillight is cracked and moisture inside just no insurance word yet. I hate to drive with no taillight or turning signal but not sure its just a bulb if stop light, running light and turn signal are all not working.
If its a fuse, where would I find the fuse box?

Thanks

Lights are expensive. However many insurance companies consider it glass and covered under the glass (often with full coverage).

The specs of tail lights vary significantly. But $1k isn't unknown. Because the lights and blis are connected to the canbus, failure causes a cascade of problems in the vehicle.
