Default Tail Light - Halogen / LED

I had an incident where one of my halogen tail lights was broken this week. It's taped up now while I figure out my next move.
Since I will be buying a new (or used) light, I'm wondering about switching to LED.
Are there adapters available to make this switch plug n play? I'd rather stick to OEM.

I would LOVE to install the LED version on my truck. Kind of surprised that they didn't include it in the upgraded lighting package.

Well, I ordered some LED tails and the adapter harness. I understand that I will have to use Forscan to make some changes to the system. Never used that but I guess I'll learn!

Please let me know how you made out. How much did the LED tails cost you?

I'll report back once all received and done.
OEM tails cost about $800 which appears to be a good deal. Harness adapter$165. Dongle for Forscan $50.

Well I can't tell you that it all works yet. It'll be another week or so before I have all the parts.
I just ordered LED taillights for a 2021. The adapter harnesses were bought from Boosted Grey Goose Designs.
I'm just getting acquainted with Forscan so can't really comment on that yet.
