Whenever I tow my trailer, I always have to reenter the length of my trailer for the the blind-spot monitoring. I set the length to 10m and width to 2.6m and usually within 2-3 restarts, the length reverts back to 1m or 3m and the width to 0.6m. What am I doing wrong, that Sync doesn't remember my trailer length? It remembers all the other settings (gain, trailer name, etc.) just not the measurements.

 

I too have encountered this issue, I have it in the dealer today for another issue (BlueCruise update???) and asked this question. I will let you know what they find out.

 

I have the same issue. Drives me nuts. Even restarting the truck while still towing, I lose the measurements.

 

The dealer could not find any error codes (no surprise there).

My suggestion is to take pictures of the settings screen (showing the trailer dimensions reset) and we will have to "escalate this"

 

Mine too. Dealer said it's because I don't have the cable to attach the truck to trailer, you know for the pro back up. They know zip.

 

I also have this issue. Neither myself nor my dealer could find a related TSB. They were hopeful that the fix for the trailer brake recall, which reprograms the trailer relay module, would magically fix this, but it has already forgotten the size I entered this morning.

I’m curious as to what sync 4 update version those of you with the distance resetting issue have. My sync hasn’t updated in a year and I don’t have the resetting issue. Could the issue describe be because of an update?
