Whenever I receive a txt message before I can click "hear it" on the touch screen, it'll flash "2 new messages" received or "3 new messages" etc. Chimes three times in a row for one new text, annoying AF. I've already removed my phone and reinstalled it without any improvement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Android or iPhone?

Not sure if I can help or not, but I've noticed lately on Android that my Messages app will re-notify me if there are texts I haven't read. So if a new one comes in, it then notifies for each unread message in addition.

Good luck! Android and Ford have quite a few issues right now. Hopefully it'll get sorted soon.

 

This happens in my 2018 sometimes. I'm surprised they haven't figured it out in Sync 4.

 

Can you use voice to listen to and respond to your texts?

I have a 2013 and all I can do is click the Listen button.

Prior to my F-150, I had two different Chevy Avalanches and I could select to listen to and/or respond to text messages by voice. But, ever since moving to my Ford using the text message option is pretty much worthless.\

Plus you have to be really fast on that incoming message to click Listen or else you will miss it.

I am just hoping in the new Sync 4 that this feature is there.

 

Did you ever find a solution to this? My new truck is doing this and it's driving me nuts. I have a Android phone (Samsung Note 20)
